Programme Brief
This programme allows students to have fundamental knowledge about themselves resulting in a rough plan that helps answer the question of “What should I study in university?” and “What type of jobs or careers will be suitable for me?” The answer to this question lies in 2 parts; Self-Discovery & Career Exploration.
Our Self-Discovery Programme starts by allowing individuals to discover their talents, abilities, skills, values and interest using fun activities and inventory assessments. Then, this information is used to form a rough idea of life goals that lead to individual goals which are then translated into an active action plan. This process helps to prioritise their attention and focus their efforts in high school with a sense of purpose and motivation.
Once these are in place, Career Exploration using a structured process and system will give better information and direction for making the best decision for their future. Sessions will also have energizer activities in between sessions to keep participants alert and focused.
The overall purpose of the program is to allow participants to discover themselves in terms of their abilities, values, goals and interest. Based on the self-discovery, participants will be more focused and directed in their future career exploration.
Part 1 : Self- Discovery
MY INTELLIGENCES & MY PERSONALITY
Based on Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligence Model, Myers Briggs Personality Types, DISC Personality Profiling and Herman’s Brain Dominance Inventory (HBDI).
Learning Outcomes
- Have a better understanding of themselves in terms of their natural intelligences and how to apply this information into their learning and future.
- Know about their personality types and the strengths and weaknesses of the personality types.
MY VALUES

- Understand the importance of values in life and determine their own values that drive them.
MY LIFE MISSION
Learning Outcomes
- Start thinking about their life goals and have a rough draft of what they want to accomplish in life.
MY GOALS
Learning Outcomes
- Be able to use the rough draft of their life goals to set priorities in life and actionable goals that will help lead them towards achieving their life goals in smaller clusters of 6 months to 3 years.
MY ACTION PLANS

- Be able to convert their goals into an actionable plan with targets and strategies to accomplish each goal resulting in an Action Plan and Study Plan.
- Have the encouragement and motivation to pursue the action plans in order to accomplish goals.
